How do I know what I don't know?
Easy, we recommend you start with an annual "fiscal check up" where we review your financials, tax returns, performance, and conduct a financial analysis. Through this evaluation we can typically find if you've outgrown your corporate structure, are out of compliance with any funding sources, are outside of KPI benchmarks, in an unhealthy cash position or have overlooked any significant tax opportunities and highlight anything else that may have been missed. From here we can begin to find and implement solutions.
At what stage in the organizational development cycle would it be appropriate to engage a CPA firm for advisory services?
At any stage, whether you are in the start-up phase or have been in business for 40 years, it's never too late or too early, the extra investment can payoff significantly in the long run.
Can your firm work in conjunction with my internal accounting team and other advisors?
Absolutely, we often come in as one of several advisor's to the client's team that may also include other subject matter experts such as an attorney, personal financial advisor, or management consultant. We'll also work closely with any internal staff that wants to be part of the process.
